Why Starving Student Guide Was Written and Why You (Yes, I mean YOU ) need it

The Starving Student guide was written because:
  1. Nobody needs another “book” on the subject that is bias, but a “Guide” that is thorough, easy to understand, and could be used by college students and those planning for their kids’ college at any age

  2. Most people are overwhelmed by the college planning and financial aid process, thus needing something clear and simple to guide them along the way

  3. Getting through college financially is far more than grants, scholarships, and loans. Unfortunately, most people don’t know about the many other aspects such as work study, tax benefits, 529 plans, military benefits, using Real Estate, Using Insurance to pay for college, and many other programs and ways to get through college for as little as possible.

  4. A college degree has become necessary in most cases just to get your foot in the door for a job interview. Unfortunately, many people don’t believe they can pay for college or are overwhelmed by the process. The truth is they can go to college! All you need is information and the Starving Student Guide is here to hold your hand in the process.

  5. Families can begin planning for their kids college at any age. There are ways to plan that are tax beneficial and better off when the child fills out financial aid forms. Think about it, you don’t wait until you’re about to retire to plan for retirement do you?

  6. Lastly, The Starving Student Guide was written because I truly believe a college education can benefit everyone through personal growth as well as for their better well being.
